A woman was reportedly gang-raped at gunpoint by three men in Savannah, according to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS). The incident occurred on Monday morning when the victim, waiting at a bus stop, was offered a ride by the trio, one of whom she recognized. Instead of taking her to her destination, the men drove her to a secluded area where they brandished a firearm and sexually assaulted her. The victim managed to get help from passersby who drove her to George Town, where the police were alerted. She was then taken to the hospital for evaluation and has since been discharged. The police have implemented safeguarding measures for her. The suspects are yet to be apprehended and are described as follows: the driver is tall, dark-complexioned, and muscular; the man who brandished the gun has a dark complexion, a large beard, and short hair; the third suspect is skinny, brown-complexioned, and has short dreadlocks.
