🚔 Woman arrested for drug possession during routine traffic stop in Cayman Islands

A 38-year-old woman from East End, Cayman Islands, was arrested on suspicion of drug possession with intent to supply. The arrest occurred during a routine traffic check on Shamrock Road. The police officer conducting the check noticed an expired number plate on a Silver Honda Fit and instructed the driver to stop. The woman tried to discard a bag, but it was intercepted by the officer. 🚗

Upon searching the bag, the officer found and seized suspected illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash. Following the traffic stop, the woman's residence was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, leading to the discovery and seizure of more drugs.
