🔫 West Bay resident fatally shot in early morning incident

Travis Alexander Ebanks, a 29-year-old resident of West Bay, was found dead in the early hours of Sunday morning following a reported shooting. The police were alerted to the incident around 4am, after receiving reports of gunshots in the area of King Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ebanks with what seemed to be gunshot wounds to his chest. He was quickly transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.🚑

The police have yet to release further details regarding the location of the shooting, whether it was Ebanks' residence, or the number of times he was shot. There is also no current indication of any arrests or if the incident is suspected to be gang-related. Ebanks, who was known to the police and believed to be on bail at the time of his death, is the first murder victim of 2024.🕵️‍♂️
