🚔 West Bay and George Town men charged with burglary

A 43-year-old man from West Bay, Cayman Islands, has been charged with burglary, theft, and handling stolen goods. The charges follow a break-in at an apartment and vehicle on West Bay Road. The man is accused of breaking into an apartment at an undisclosed condo complex, stealing items, and fleeing when spotted by the occupant. He also allegedly broke into a vehicle at the same location and stole items from there as well. He appeared in court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody pending a future court appearance. 🚓

In a separate incident, a 51-year-old man from George Town has been charged with two counts of burglary. The charges stem from two break-ins at a school on Walkers Road. The man is alleged to have broken into the school on two separate occasions, stealing speakers and an air conditioning unit. He was scheduled to appear in court today. 🏫
