🚨 Wanted man claims innocence on live radio show

A man identifying himself as Shavan Claude Brown, who is wanted by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) in relation to a drug boat found last week, called into a local radio talk show from Jamaica. He asserted that he was not on Cayman Brac, the location where the boat was seized, at the time of the incident. The police had previously issued an appeal for information about Brown, stating that he was of interest in the drug boat case. 🚔

The caller, claiming to be Brown, stated that he was deported from the Cayman Islands last year and is currently in Jamaica working in construction. The police had previously described Brown as potentially armed and dangerous, and urged anyone who saw him to immediately report his whereabouts. Despite the call, the police maintain that Brown remains a person of interest in the drug boat case and encourage him to identify himself to the police. 📞

Over the weekend, two people were arrested following a raid at a home where police believed Brown was staying. However, Brown was not found at the location. Two other men have already been arrested in connection with the drug boat. 🚨
