Nurse Elba Hessing has been recognized for her significant contribution to healthcare in the Cayman Islands. Hessing, who has been serving patients at the George Town Hospital for the past 50 years, was recently honored by the Health Service Authority (HSA). She started her nursing career with the HSA in March 1974 and became the first nurse anaesthetist in the Cayman Islands in 1985. She continues to serve in this role nearly 40 years later. šŸ„
