šŸš” Two women arrested for DUI following serious car crash

Two women and a man were involved in a serious car accident in East End early Friday morning. The vehicle they were in, a Honda Fit, veered off Seaview Road and collided with a light pole on the opposite side of the road. The police have not yet determined which of the two women was driving at the time of the accident, leading to both women being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). The crash occurred around 12:45am, just east of Health City. šŸšØ

All three occupants of the car were extracted and rushed to George Town Hospital. The man sustained critical injuries and is currently in stable but critical condition. One of the women also suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital, while the second woman was treated and discharged. The accident resulted in the closure of the road for police investigations, causing disruptions to the morning commute.
