🔒 Two West Bay men charged with firearm and ammunition possession

Two men from West Bay have been arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. The arrests followed a police chase on Monday evening, during which the suspects are alleged to have thrown a gun and a loaded magazine out of their vehicle, a Toyota Mark II. One of the men has also been charged with dangerous driving. 🚨

The suspects appeared in court on Wednesday and have been remanded in custody until May 8. The charges come as part of ongoing efforts by the George Town Police Station to curb illegal firearm possession and related crimes in the area. 🏛️
