🚗 Two lives claimed in early morning car crash on Shamrock Road

Two people tragically lost their lives in a single-vehicle collision on Shamrock Road in the Spotts-Newlands area. The accident occurred early Monday morning when a white BMW crashed into a wall on the westbound lane. The victims, a man and a woman, were extricated from the wreckage by fire crews and rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The westbound lane towards George Town has been redirected through Hirst Road as police conduct their investigation. 🚑

The eastbound traffic is being rerouted through Spotts Newlands Road. However, drivers heading east are advised to avoid the area and use the East-West Arterial instead.
