🚨 Two Jamaican nationals arrested for illegal landing in Cayman Islands

Two Jamaican men, aged 33 and 40, were arrested by the Customs and Border Control (CBC) in the Cayman Islands after they reportedly landed a boat illegally on the Breakers shoreline in Bodden Town. The local police, who were called to the scene around 7am on Sunday, detained the men who appeared to be in good health before handing them over to the CBC officers. The boat was seized by the Cayman Islands Coast Guard officers who also attended the scene. 🚔

An extensive search of the surrounding area was carried out by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) Air Operations Unit, but they found nothing illegal. There was no indication that the men were involved in smuggling drugs or guns. The CBC is now investigating the circumstances of the men's arrival. 🕵️‍♂️
