A 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman from George Town have been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. The charges stem from an incident that occurred at a 24-hour grocery store at the West Bay 4 Way Stop on a recent Sunday night. The duo was arrested earlier this week after being identified on the store's CCTV footage. They were expected to appear in court on Wednesday. 📹

An additional 34-year-old man, who was also arrested in connection with the robbery, has been released on bail as the investigation continues. The 23-year-old male suspect has been charged with several traffic offenses, including driving without being qualified, driving without insurance, and speeding. He is suspected to be the individual captured on CCTV entering the store with his head partially covered, struggling with the shop clerk, and removing the cash register before fleeing the scene. The woman is believed to be the individual posing as a customer, also caught on the store's CCTV. 🚗
