🌀 Tropical Storm Tammy Heads North, No Threat to Cayman Islands

The US National Hurricane Center (NHC) has reported that Tropical Storm Tammy, which formed in the center of the Atlantic, is heading north and does not pose a threat to the Cayman Islands. The storm is expected to approach the Leeward Islands by Friday and is predicted to escalate into a hurricane. 🌀

As of Thursday morning, Tammy was located approximately 425 miles east-southeast of Guadeloupe, already exhibiting wind speeds of 60mph. This makes Tammy the nineteenth named storm of the current season. Despite its growing strength, the NHC assures that the storm's projected path will not impact the Cayman Islands. 🌴
