🚔 Suspect in Cayman Brac hit-and-run arrested

The man suspected of being behind the wheel during a Boxing Day hit-and-run on Cayman Brac has been arrested. The 28-year-old, also from the Brac, was apprehended on Grand Cayman at approximately 3:30pm on Wednesday, January 10. He was subsequently processed at the Cayman Islands Detention Centre and has since been released on bail as investigations continue. 🚨

The incident involved a white Honda Fit striking a pedestrian on West End Road East. The victim was crossing the road with a friend when the vehicle hit him. The suspect's arrest comes as a result of ongoing police investigations into the incident. 🚔
