A 21-year-old man from Bodden Town was arrested by police on Saturday night, following an armed robbery at Mostynโ€™s Gas Station on Bodden Town Road. The man, who was reportedly wearing a black hoodie and carrying a gun, entered the store around 8pm, behaving in a threatening manner. He stole cash and other items before fleeing towards the beach. ๐Ÿช

Upon arrival, police officers were directed towards the suspect's escape route and pursued him on foot. The suspect was quickly apprehended and arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit a crime. The officers also managed to recover the property stolen from the gas station. Detective Superintendent Peter Lansdown praised the quick thinking and effective use of police training by the officers, who were among the youngest in the service. He expressed his pride in their efforts and optimism for the future of the service. ๐Ÿšจ
