🌀 South Sound Road severely impacted by Hurricane Beryl

Following the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, police officers during their post-hurricane patrols reported that a section of South Sound Road, starting from the intersection at Old Crewe Road, is currently unsafe and closed to motorists. The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has stated that this part of the road will remain blocked until further notice due to the significant damage and excessive debris caused by the hurricane. 🌪️

While other roads were also blocked with fallen trees and utility lines, most have been cleared by emergency services and are now safe for motorists. The RCIPS expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation during the hurricane and urged everyone to continue exercising caution while using the roads amid the ongoing inclement weather. 🚗
