A 23-year-old probationary officer from Bodden Town has been arrested on suspicion of theft and aggravated burglary. The woman, who is part of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), was suspended from her duties following the arrest. The arrest is related to a domestic incident, however, further details surrounding the alleged offences have not been disclosed. š
The young officer was part of a group of 22 recruits who completed their basic training in November 2023. Following their graduation, they embarked on a probationary period on the job, during which they were partnered with more senior officers.
