More than 6,000 customers of the Caribbean Utilities Company (CUC) in West Bay were left without power for approximately an hour due to an outage at one of the substations on Thursday evening. The power outage resulted in several small explosions around the district, leading to the fall of numerous electricity lines. 🌩️
CUC promptly responded to the situation, with crews dispatched within minutes to attend to the fallen lines and begin the process of restoring power. The company has not yet released any information regarding the cause of the outage.⚙️
