🚧 NRA launches safety improvement project on Shamrock Road

The National Roads Authority (NRA) has commenced the first phase of a project aimed at enhancing road safety on Shamrock Road and Hirst Road. The project is designed to alleviate congestion and lower the risk of accidents at key intersections. From August 21 to 23, the NRA will supervise the installation of a dedicated right-turn lane for the Savannah Post Office and a centre-turn lane from the post office to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. đŸšĻ

This crucial initiative is aimed at improving road safety near the Savannah Primary School, a high-traffic area that serves as a vital corridor for students, parents, and the broader community. The NRA has advised motorists to exercise caution and adhere to all signage and instructions provided by the road work crew. For smoother commuting, the NRA recommends using the East-West Arterial Road, which now includes two lanes for both east- and westbound traffic. 🚸

The NRA expressed its commitment to enhancing road safety across the Cayman Islands and appreciated the community's patience and cooperation during these vital improvements. For more information about this project, visit www.caymanroads.com/. 🌐
