🚢 Massive drug haul intercepted by Cayman Islands and Jamaican Coast Guards

The Cayman Islands Coast Guard and the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard recently carried out a joint maritime operation resulting in a significant drug haul. In international waters, the coast guards intercepted and seized an estimated 560 lbs of ganja. The drugs, packaged in multiple large packets, are currently being analysed. Four men, two from Jamaica and two from the Cayman Islands, suspected to be involved in the drug smuggling operation, have been charged. They were remanded in custody after their court appearance on Monday and are scheduled to reappear on 8 October. 🚔
