🔫 Man survives gunshot to the head

A man was rushed to hospital late Tuesday night after being shot in the head. The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) reported that the injuries were not life-threatening. The incident occurred around 11:00pm, with police responding to a report of a shooting outside a business on Eastern Avenue, near School Road. On arrival, they discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. He was promptly transported to the hospital by ambulance. 🚑

The shooting was later determined to have taken place in the vicinity of Liberty Lane. Both areas were cordoned off and processed by officers. The matter is currently under investigation. As of Wednesday afternoon, no arrests had been made. The police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any other information to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
