🔪 Man stabbed in brawl outside McRuss Grocery Store

A violent altercation outside a convenience store in Prospect resulted in one man being treated for stab wounds to his back and chest. The incident occurred around 6:15pm on Sunday outside McRuss Grocery Store on Party Lane. The victim managed to escape into the store, where security officers promptly locked the door. The police were then alerted to the situation.🚨

Upon arrival, the police arrested a 43-year-old man from George Town who was still at the scene. He is currently in custody on suspicion of wounding. Another individual involved in the altercation had fled the scene before the police arrived and remains at large. The victim was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
