A man armed with a machete conducted two robberies in the Shedden Road area of downtown George Town on Tuesday night. The suspect initially approached a man on the street and demanded cash, before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount. He then reportedly ran through the outdoor area of a nearby bar, causing patrons to scatter and leaving behind their personal items, which the robber subsequently stole.šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø

Police received initial reports of a machete-wielding man running through a bar near the junction of Main Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a man had been mugged nearby just before the bar incident. The suspect in both incidents is described as being around 5'8", of medium build, and was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, white and black shoes, and a black mask. No injuries were reported from either incident.šŸ‘®ā€ā™‚ļø
