🔪 Machete-wielding robber strikes North Side shop

Police in the Cayman Islands are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at a North Side business last week. The suspect, who was armed with a machete, burst into the store on North Side Road and demanded cash from the employees. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money and other items, he fled the scene on foot, heading in an easterly direction towards a nearby football field. 🚔

The suspect is described as being over 6 feet tall, slim, and was wearing dark clothing, a black mask, and gloves at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery. The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 947-2220 or through the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777.
