🔪 Machete-wielding burglar invades home in East End

Authorities are investigating a home invasion that took place in the early hours of Thursday in East End. A burglar, armed with a machete, reportedly broke into a house on Seaview Road around 1:30am. The intruder, described as wearing a dirty white marina and shorts, kicked down an interior door, injuring one of the residents. 🚨

The man demanded money from the home's occupants before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Despite immediate checks in the surrounding areas by uniformed and armed officers, the perpetrator remains at large. The Eastern Districts CID is handling the investigation and is calling for anyone with information to come forward. 🕵️‍♂️
