Dorian Dolan Hunter, a resident of Cayman Brac, has pleaded not guilty to charges of obtaining property by deception in the Grand Court. Hunter is accused of deceiving two individuals on separate occasions, allegedly selling them Honda vehicles that he never delivered, amounting to a total of $21,000. š
The prosecution's case against Hunter alleges that between 30 August and 31 October 2022, he took CI$7,000 from one person for a Honda vehicle that was not his to sell. In a similar incident in February of the same year, he is accused of taking CI$14,000 for another Honda that he falsely claimed was his. Following his not-guilty plea, a jury trial has been scheduled for January. āļø
