A female employee at the George Town landfill was injured on Friday morning when she accidentally slipped into one of the containers at the site's 24-hour drop-off facility. The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) reported that the worker suffered minor injuries in the incident. Emergency services were promptly alerted and the injured worker was immediately transported to the hospital for medical attention. 🏥

Initial reports suggest that the worker incurred minor cuts and bruises on both her hands, as well as on her right leg and ankle. Despite the accident, officials stated that the employee remained in high spirits.
