👮‍♂️ Juvenile group reported for shooting pellet guns at public in George Town

Police in George Town have received multiple reports of a group of boys, aged between twelve and fifteen, shooting at random members of the public with pellet guns or gel blasters. The incidents, which have caused distress and fear among the community, took place on the evenings of August 2nd and 3rd, between 8:00pm and 10:00pm, in the vicinity of Newport Avenue, Keturah Street, Hope Drive, and Paxton Street. Although no injuries have been reported, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has advised the boys involved to stop these activities immediately. 🚔

The RCIPS is also urging parents, particularly those whose children own such toys, to talk to them about the potential negative consequences of their actions. The police are currently investigating the incidents and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the events or who may have any other information to contact them.
