🔍 Investigation launched following discovery of male skeletal remains

Police in East End have launched an investigation following the discovery of male skeletal remains in a secluded mangrove area. The body was found by a member of the public on Thursday morning around 11am. A team of officers, including the Air Operations Unit, were dispatched to the location and an aerial scan was conducted. The Crime Scene Investigations Unit has forensically recovered the remains. 🚁

Experts have determined that the remains belong to an adult man who had been in the location for an extensive period of time. However, no estimation has been given regarding the exact duration. The investigation is now focused on identifying the body and determining the cause of death. The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) is actively seeking information about missing persons, particularly from East End. 🕵️‍♂️
