A 29-year-old man from George Town has been apprehended on suspicion of several crimes, following a drug raid in Bodden Town. The suspect is accused of possessing an illegal firearm, cocaine, and other drugs. The arrest took place on February 15, when the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) and Customs and Border Control executed a search warrant at a residence on Mijall Road in Bodden Town. The officers discovered a pistol, ammunition, cocaine, other drugs, and an undisclosed amount of cash. 🚨

The suspect is also charged with damaging government property by removing an electronic tag. Upon the arrival of the police and customs officers, the suspect attempted to escape through a window. However, his escape attempt was unsuccessful, leading to his detention and the subsequent search of the premises. The man, who is currently in custody, is under arrest on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, possession of cocaine with intent to supply, and damage to government property. 🏛️
