🚨 George Town man arrested for restaurant burglary

A 31-year-old man from George Town was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning following a reported burglary at a restaurant and bar located on North Church Street, George Town. The police were alerted to the incident around 1:40 am on January 5th, but have not disclosed the name of the establishment involved in the incident.🕵️‍♂️

Upon arrival at the scene, the police officers identified a man matching the description of the suspect. However, the man attempted to escape on foot, prompting a chase. The officers were successful in apprehending the suspect, who was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary. He is currently being held in custody.🚔
