🚔 George Town man arrested for DUI after Friday night collision

A 25-year-old man from George Town was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving without a licence and driving without insurance after a crash on Rex Crighton Boulevard on Friday night. The man was driving a black Honda Civic when he collided with a white Isuzu Elf, causing the latter to hit a roadside railing and overturn. The Honda also left the roadway during the incident. 🚗

After speaking to both drivers, officers arrested the driver of the Honda Civic. He now faces potential disqualification from driving for at least a year, in addition to a possible fine or custodial sentence. Both drivers and a passenger in the Isuzu sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment, but were later discharged. 🏥
