šŸ”« George Orlando Senior denies involvement in daylight murder

George Orlando Senior, a 35-year-old man from West Bay, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of 25-year-old Divonte Alejandro Hernandez. Hernandez was shot and killed in broad daylight outside a George Town Liquor store in September. Senior is one of two men charged with Hernandez's murder, but the second man, 24-year-old Sean Austin Connolly Amaya from George Town, has not yet responded to the charges due to legal complications. šŸ›ļø

Both men are currently on remand and no trial date has been set as the crown intends to try the two together. Lawyers involved in the case estimate that the trial will last at least three weeks. The case against Senior is believed to be based on CCTV footage, telephone records, DNA, and gunshot residue evidence. Hernandez was shot just after he parked and stepped out of his car, in front of his infant son, outside Liquor 4 Less at the junction of Sound Road and Eastern Avenue in Central George Town on 29 September. šŸš”
