🚨 Diver loses life during South Sound expedition

Police are probing the unfortunate death of a 37-year-old man from Idaho, who lost his life during a dive trip off the South Sound coast. The incident took place last Thursday morning, and the circumstances surrounding the event are currently under investigation by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS).

The man reportedly experienced difficulties while diving and was quickly brought back to the Red Bay Dock on South Sound Road around 8:30 am. The dive crew administered CPR while awaiting the arrival of emergency services. Upon their arrival, the man was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead.
