A Delta 737-900 aircraft from Atlanta hit and knocked over a stairs truck at Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA), causing damage to the plane's wing. The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA) has since launched an investigation into the incident. Footage of the aftermath, taken by a passenger on the plane, shows the overturned truck and airport staff rushing to the scene. 🎥
No injuries were reported, and airport operations were only briefly disrupted for about 20 minutes. Delta arranged a relief flight for passengers who were scheduled to depart on the damaged aircraft.
