👑 Crown concludes case against accused in gambling shop murder

Prosecution in the murder case of Harry Elliott has wrapped up its arguments against Justin Kyle Jackson and Eric Brian Williams Soto. The case, which has seen much agreement between the prosecutors and the defence attorneys, was presented to the jurors by Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Candia James-Malcolm. She outlined the basic facts, including measurements and dimensions in the lobby area where the murder occurred. 🏛️

James-Malcolm highlighted that the accused were identified through DNA, CCTV and tracking phone evidence. Both defendants opted for no-comment interviews upon their arrest. The court will now offer the accused the chance to call witnesses in their defence or testify themselves. However, there are ongoing legal discussions between the crown and defence regarding the nuances of the law in this case, particularly the claim by Jackson and Soto that the shooting was accidental, not intentional.
