🏛️ Cayman Islands parliament meeting rescheduled for Monday

The Cayman Islands' political representatives are set to reconvene in parliament on Monday, 22 July, following a notification from Speaker Alden McLaughlin. The government is expected to present five bills during the session, excluding the proposed amendments to the National Conservation Act, which are still being drafted. The opposition, on the other hand, has a list of parliamentary questions and several private members’ motions to present. The bills to be discussed include a supplementary appropriation relating to last year's expenditure, the Summary Jurisdiction (Amendment) Bill, the Perpetuities (Amendment) Bill, the Pharmacy Bill, and the Firearms (Amendment) Bill. 📜
