🌐 Cayman Islands Minister takes business promotion tour in Asia

Deputy Premier and Financial Services Minister André Ebanks is on a mission to promote the financial service sector of the Cayman Islands in Asia. Ebanks, who also handles commerce and social development, has been dedicatedly focusing on his financial services sector responsibilities. This has led him to travel frequently this year, with his latest visit being to Tokyo and Hong Kong for meetings with industry officials and regulators. 🌏

Gene DaCosta, the government’s representative in the new Asia Overseas Office, played a significant role in planning the schedule and will also attend the meetings with the minister. Meanwhile, the duties of Ebanks, including those of deputy premier and the Ministry of Investment, Innovation and Social Development, will be taken over by Dwayne Seymour, the minister for labour and border control. Ebanks is expected to update the public on the visit after he returns to office on April 29. 📆
