πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈCayman Island's Jordan Crooks makes it to Olympic Semi-Finals in men's 100m Freestyle

Swimmer achieves personal best in Olympic debut, sister Jillian Crooks competes in women's event

Jordan Crooks, a swimmer representing the Cayman Islands, has advanced to the Semi-Final round of the men's 100-metre Freestyle in his first Olympic appearance. On 30th July, Crooks achieved a personal season-best time of 48:01 seconds, securing the fifth-best time in the Heats round. Despite his success, Crooks believes there is room for improvement, particularly in the middle 50 metres of the race. He plans to be more aggressive in his approach to the wall and in his departure from it. πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

The Semi-Final round is scheduled for 30th July, at 1:30pm Cayman Islands time. If he qualifies, Crooks will compete in the 100-metre Freestyle Finals the following day. Later in the week, he will also participate in the men's 50-metre Freestyle Heats. His sister, Jillian Crooks, competed in the women's 100-metre Freestyle event, where she finished seventh in her heat with a time of 56:15 seconds. Unfortunately, this was not fast enough to advance her to the Semi-Finals. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ
