🏥 Cayman Islands Hospital receives new COVID-19 vaccine supply

The Health Services Authority (HSA) in the Cayman Islands has received a new supply of COVID-19 vaccines from the UK. This comes as the virus continues to spread in the community, with many patients admitted to the Cayman Islands Hospital over the past weeks due to COVID-19 or other respiratory infections. In response to the rising cases, the HSA has resumed administering the vaccines. 🏥

The available vaccines include the Moderna (bivalent) booster, as well as the Pfizer adult and paediatric shots. The vaccines are free of charge and no appointments are necessary. Individuals who have not yet received the vaccine can get the first dose of Pfizer, while those who have not had a booster shot for three months or more are eligible for the Moderna (bivalent) booster shot. 💉
