🎉 Cayman Islands Government to host public Heroes Day after party

The Cayman Islands Government (CIG) is set to hold a public after party in celebration of National Heroes Day. The festivities, which will take place on Monday morning, will honor the country's latest national treasures with local awards. The theme for this year's celebrations is "Celebrating Cultural Artists and Creatives", with over eighty individuals recognized in various categories. These honorees were nominated by the public last year and selected through a rigorous evaluation process by the National Heroes Day Committee. 🎖️

In addition to the awards ceremony, the after party will feature a celebration of local culture on Cardinall Avenue, with local food, craft vendors, live entertainment, and fireworks. The awards presentation will be live-streamed on the Cayman Islands Government's YouTube and cable television channels. The annual Awards Presentation in Heroes Square will kick off at 9:00am, followed by the Celebration of Culture at 4:00pm on Cardinall Avenue. 🎆
