The Cayman Islands will have eleven public holidays in 2024, as there are no special royal events scheduled for the year. The holidays will start with New Year's Day on Monday, 1 January, and end with Boxing Day on Thursday, 26 December. The list also includes Emancipation Day on 6 May, which has replaced the former Discovery Day and is not an additional holiday. 🗓️
The date for the King's Official Birthday is yet to be confirmed but is expected to be on 17 June. This schedule means that most workers will enjoy at least one day off per month between January and July before a more than three-month gap until Remembrance Day.
