A carjacking that took place on Christmas Day led to the arrest of two men after a screwdriver, used as a weapon during the crime, was left at the scene. The victim handed the tool over to the police, who were able to identify Gerardo George Connolly through DNA evidence on the screwdriver. Connolly has been charged with robbery. 🚔

Shane William Junior McLean, who was found in the stolen car the morning after the crime, was also charged with handling stolen goods. The victim's belongings, including his clothes, work tools, and phone, were in the car at the time of the theft. The trial, overseen by Acting Justice Kirsty-Ann Gunn, is ongoing. ⚖️
