🚔 Body found in East End confirmed as missing Jamaican national

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has confirmed that the body found in the mangrove wetlands of East End last week is that of 26-year-old Adrian Williamson, a Jamaican national who was living in Cayman. Williamson was reported missing on July 6, 2022. The clothing on the remains matched the description of what Williamson was wearing when he was last seen. 🕵️‍♂️

While the police have confirmed the identity of the body, they have not yet disclosed any information regarding the cause of death or if any foul play is suspected. The Health Services Authority (HSA) has engaged an expert anthropologist to examine the remains and assist in the investigation. Forensic samples have been obtained and are currently being analyzed. 🧪
