🚨 Beware of scam calls claiming to be from bank fraud units

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has issued a warning to local banking customers about scam calls originating from overseas numbers. The callers allege to be representatives from the bank's 'Fraud Unit', informing the customer about suspicious purchases on their account. They then send a link for the customer to review these purchases. However, clicking on this link grants the scammer access to the customer's computer.🔗

RCIPS advises the public to remain vigilant and never provide personal banking details over the phone or click on links sent by anyone claiming to be from their bank.
