🔫 Armed robbery in George Town parking lot triggers police investigation

Two men were victims of an armed robbery in a parking lot on Rock Hole Road, George Town, triggering a police investigation. The incident occurred on Saturday night when an unidentified man, believed to be in his late 20s, approached the victims carrying what seemed to be a firearm. One of the victims managed to escape on foot, while the other was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene. 🏃‍♂️

Despite the threatening situation, no shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident. The suspect, described as being between 5’8″ and 5’10”, of dark complexion, and dressed entirely in black, including a face covering, remains at large. The police have not yet made any arrests in connection to the robbery. 👮‍♂️
