🌯 Al La Kebab truck robbed days after food hut hit

The Al La Kebab food truck in Red Bay was robbed just after midnight on Wednesday, only days after its hut in the Marquee Plaza was also hit. The suspect, a tall, slim man armed with a machete, demanded cash from staff before fleeing the scene. He was wearing a mask and dark clothing, similar to the description of the suspect in the previous robbery. 🚚

While the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has noted the similarities between the two robberies, they are keeping an open mind about the identity of the suspect. Al La Kebab has been targeted in at least a dozen robberies over the last decade, with staff members previously being injured. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in these recent incidents. The police are now investigating and are urging anyone with information to come forward. 🚔
